Hello my name is Pat Sparrowe. I am 39 years old and have been hunting and fishing most of my life. I am a father of three children. One is a special needs little girl that was born with a very rare syndrome called Rett Syndrome. This has held me up from hunting and fishing as much as I would love to, but my children come first.
I take my rifle/bow hunting and fishing very seriously but also love spening time with family and friends in the outdoors. Over my hunting career I have taken some great animals with my career best being my 2011 Alberta Bull Elk that grossed 360 inches and netted 339. I have taken a few bulls in the high 200's and low 300's here in Alberta.
For me hunting season, here in Alberta, never closes. I am so lucky that after deer season, I hunt coyotes and wolves until spring. When the gophers come out and so do the .223's and .17's. Next we have bear season from April till June. Then it's back to gophers and some walleye fishing till elk season starts at the end of August.
I have taken one Pope and Young Whitetail 144 7/8 and two Buckmasters Book Whitetail's both in the 160s as well as numerous moose and mule deer but my true passions are elk, whitetails and coyotes.
My guiding experience is with moose, elk and many seasons of spring bear with two different outfitters here in Northern Alberta.
I am so proud to be part of the Vortex team and look forward to many years of representing and hunting with the best optics money can buy.
