In his own words:

I was born and raised in a small town in central Alberta, where I now raise my family. I have played all types of sports: hockey , football, baseball and so on, but my passion has always been hunting and fishing for most of our table fare.

I got into hunting and fishing with my grandfather Harry Brick. We used to go out walking for grouse, rabbits and deer. His favourite animal to hunt was the bull moose. He used to build his own birch bark calls that he would call them in with. After his passing I had gotten out of hunting and it was not until i met my wife Tennille that I got back into hunting, but only with a rifle. In 2005, my cousin Richie Wilson introduced me to archery and it is now my passion.

I have three beautiful children my daughter Taylor (15), 2 sons Tyson (12) and Jaxon (4). My wife and both sons are into hunting and shooting archery with me.

My favourite animal to hunt is the black bear, there is just something about it that gives me the chills. I hunt them over a bait, where there are 2 to 10 bears all around you, or spot and stalk, where there is nothing between you and the bear. I have taken lots of people to their first encounter with a black bear and the look they get on their face when a bear comes in is an amazing thing to see.

My hunting partner Dallas Burns and I have been thinking of putting a show together for years and in 2010 we got together and came up with our show, Those Guys Outdoor Adventures. We believe our show will go right to the top. There are lots of shows out there and it is going to be hard to compete, but we believe we will do it. This would not be possible without the support from our family, friends and our fine sponsors, so we thank all of them.
